Fooditive Fat Replacers are made from avocado seeds and deliver the same taste and mouthfeel of fat without delivering all the calories, saturated fat, and other unhealthy attributes of traditional fats. We provide the ideal solution to reduce calories, increase satiety and improve the nutritional profile of your favorite foods.​ Removing fat from a food product is not the solution to making it healthier.

Fooditive Fat-Replacer is a new ingredient that is designed to replicate the performance of fat in food products. This means that it can lower the total calories of a food product by up to 45% per serving. The product can replace up to 90% of the total fat in food products, which gives consumers all the flavor and texture they expect from their favorite foods, but with fewer calories.

Fatty acid and propoxylated glycerin preparation

Extraction of fatty acids and glycerol from avocado seeds then Propoxylation of glycerol to create propoxylated glycerol.

Production of esterified propoxylated glycerol

Esterification of propoxylated glycerol with fatty acids (including behenic acid) in a batch or continuous process.

Bleaching

Removal of impurities and color from the esterified product using bleaching clay

Steam stripping

Removal of unreacted fatty acids and other volatile components using steam.

Activated carbon and antioxidants

Further purification and stabilization of the final product using activated carbon and antioxidants.

United States

We're thrilled to announce that Fooditive     Sweetener has been self-affirmed as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) in     the US! This means we're ready to launch in the US     market, bringing our delicious, low-calorie sweetener to     American consumers.
