Fooditive is seeking a dynamic Science and Innovation Partnership Leader to spearhead our collaborative efforts in advancing our precision fermentation technology platform. This pivotal role will bridge the gap between our innovative technology and its real-world application through strategic partnerships.

As the Science and Innovation Partnership Leader, you will be responsible for identifying, establishing, and managing key partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations), CDMOs (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations), and industry leaders. Your role is crucial in accelerating the development and commercialization of our groundbreaking food technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with Fooditive's technological goals and market objectives
• Identify and secure strategic collaborations with academic institutions, research centers, and industry partners to enhance our technology platform
• Manage relationships with CMOs and CDMOs, ensuring effective technology transfer and scale-up of our precision fermentation processes
• Coordinate joint research projects and oversee technology licensing initiatives
• Act as a key liaison between Fooditive's R&D team and external partners, facilitating knowledge exchange and problem-solving
• Represent Fooditive at scientific conferences, industry events, and in negotiations with potential partners
• Monitor trends in food technology, biotechnology, and related fields to identify new partnership opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership activities with Fooditive's overall business strategy

Requirements

• Advances degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in scientific partnership management or business development in the food tech or biotech industry
• Proven track record in establishing and managing successful technology partnerships
• Strong understanding of precision fermentation technology and its applications in the food industry
• Experience in technology transfer and working with CMOs/CDMOs
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
• Strategic thinking with a business mindset
• Ability to understand and communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences
