We are looking for aProject Lead to drive execution, coordination, and oversight of a keyfermentation initiative. This role requires strong project management skills,technical expertise, and the ability to align cross-functional teams towardssuccessful project delivery.
The ideal candidatewill be highly organized, solutions-driven, and capable of managing technicalworkflows while ensuring project milestones are met efficiently.
Role Overview
The Project Lead –Biotech Fermentation will be responsible for:
· Leading project executionand ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule.
· Managing cross-functionalteams and coordinating technical workflows.
· Overseeing fermentationtrials, process development, and scaling activities.
· Driving problem-solvinginitiatives and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution& Coordination
· Lead end-to-end projectexecution, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives.
· Organize and coordinatecross-functional teams (R&D, process development, regulatory, andoperations) to maintain efficiency.
· Track project progress,manage timelines, and proactively adjust plans as needed.
· Identify potential risksand implement strategies to mitigate project disruptions.
Technical Oversight& Process Management
· Oversee fermentation andbioprocess development to ensure scalable and efficient execution.
· Maintain structuredworkflows, documentation, and data tracking for informed decision-making.
· Work closely with R&Dteams to optimize process parameters and troubleshoot challenges.
· Manage material andresource planning, ensuring technical requirements are met.
Regulatory &Confidentiality Compliance
· Ensure all projectactivities align with regulatory requirements.
· Maintain strictconfidentiality over Fooditive’s technical processes and intellectual property.
· Oversee documentationcontrol, ensuring sensitive project data is managed securely.
Key Qualifications
· 3-5 years of experience inbiotechnology, fermentation, or industrial bioprocessing, with at least 1 yearin a project leadership role.
· Proven ability to manageand execute technical projects in fermentation, bioprocess development, orprecision fermentation.
· Able to work in small teamin Start-Up environment.
· Strong organizationalskills to coordinate teams, manage project timelines, and ensure smoothexecution.
· Excellent problem-solvingand decision-making abilities with a structured, solutions-oriented mindset.
· Strong attention to detailin managing technical, financial, and compliance-related aspects of projects.
